台大機械系鄭榮和教授和他的一群學生，堅持將教室學到的知識變為成品。他們經費有限、課業沈重、受到諸多懷疑，但他們選擇冒險，一心讓夢想實現。2005年他們完成世界級的太陽能車FORMOSUN III，投入澳洲世界太陽能車挑戰大賽。三千公里的賽程，考驗的不僅是車子，更是車手和團隊的默契與決心。這群年輕的準工程師或許初出茅廬，但他們努力為團隊目標付出的精神，更教人動容。
