We find him 5 years after L'Auberge Espagnole - Xavier is now thirty years old. He has realized his childhood dream, has become a writer, but he still seems a little lost. Making a living by writing is not so easy, and he has a few problems with his banker. Xavier also has trouble settling down with a girl - he has one meaningless romantic encounter after another.
