《里歐洛》僅是羅桑的第二部作品，不料一場飛機失事，竟也成為他的遺作。影片描述一個12歲男孩，固執地相信自己生命來自一顆受精的義大利蕃茄，也不願陷溺在家族遺傳悲劇的泥沼裡。他只能藉由不斷地書寫和想像，來保持靈魂的清醒，正如同導演羅桑藉由創作來追憶或彌補自己的情感經歷一樣。小男主角的遺言，成了導演自身的天鵝輓歌，美得既詩意又殘酷，直令人起雞皮疙瘩。

Leolo is an audacious study of a 12-year-old dreamer who is convinced he is the offspring of a sperm-laden Sicilian tomato. Following the descent of a young boy, surrounded by madness, into the maelstrom of insanity, Leolo is at once poetic, crude, beautiful and grotesque. Photography and music blend well to wrap a heartbreaking story of dreams unborn.
