Taipei Grand Award& Taipei Image Award
Nominees Announced
Aimed to encourage the local motion picture
production, the Taipei Film Festival has
since its beginning established two national
awards “Taipei Grand Award” and “Taipei
Image Award.”
The Taipei Grand Award accepts all formats
and lengths of the following four categories
of: feature films, documentary, experimental
films and animation. The Taipei Grand Award
is reputed to be the most important arena
for Taiwanese filmmakers, attracting the
most vigor and creative Taiwanese films to
the Film Festival. This year we received 180
submissions and the 27 films will compete
for the Grand Prize.
